HSBC Ventures, Innovation and Partnerships launching Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) program
Open Innovation is a key for long-term organisational success. By partnering with the world’s leading technology organisations and entrepreneurs, HSBC is reshaping banking, creating new customer value and growth opportunities.
In this spirit, HSBC Ventures, Innovation and Partnerships is excited to announce the launch of the Entrepreneur-in-Residence program – a seven month full-time paid residency designed to create a unique opportunity to shape ideas into world-class solutions.
The Entrepreneur-in-Residence program enables entrepreneurs to incubate their ideas and drive disruptive innovation, in collaboration with HSBC, to create solutions for the future of the financial services industry.
Through this programme, EIRs will have the ability to experiment with their ideas in a safe environment, with the access to HSBC’s global network and mentorship, as well as an opportunity to gain equity and a senior role in any successful spinoff company.
HSBC Ventures, Innovation and Partnerships is particularly excited to attract senior leaders and former founders who have started venture-scale companies in the past, to help explore what’s next for the banking industry.
We are accepting up to 8 EIRs for our first cohort.
The Entrepreneur-in-Residence program is currently looking for solutions in the following focus areas:
- Web3 / Defi
- Digital Wallet
- Embedded Finance / APIs
- ESG Data
